If we elect not to pay for the reserved parking spot, I assume we can park in one of the three designated lots where the shuttle bus makes its stops?
There’s plenty of free on-street parking (a few miles on both sides of the street) to take a shuttle bus in and back to your vehicle. Hopefully this answers some of your questions!
